These are but a FEW of the reasons that the kids from Team Hades (not to mention their crotchetty old cartoonist) think that being a superhero just isn't worth it.

That is a big part of it, but it's the little things that sting more, sometimes.
Worse than being ostracized or villainized sometimes is simply being taken for granted or having so sacrifice your life (or, rather livelihood), free time and joy for the sake of others without even a 'thank you' or consideration for what you're giving up/missing out on while doing for others.
I don't know if these are proper deconstructions so much as 'inconvenient truths' and The Other Side of the Story.
